Sadaf Fatima
Hello! My name is Sadaf Fatima. Teaching is a passion of mine and I love everything about it. I have been a teacher for CPS for the past eight years, and a teacher at Haugan for almost seven years now. I have a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and a certification in teaching. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Literacy Instruction.

This page will serve as a great resource for your child to check on a daily basis, to see the work that has been assigned to them. Majority of the work we do will be assigned in google classroom. Each student has their log in for google classroom, as it is the same as their email address. Before the school closure I made sure each child had access to their email and password, and since we have done work in google classroom before, they know the protocol of how to log in and where to find the work that has been assigned to them.

The students will be assigned work for reading, writing, science and social studies in google classroom, which will be graded. Please make sure you are working with your child to ensure they are staying active in having their work done during the school closure. All the work assigned will be graded as part of their report card grades. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me via email: sfatima5@cps.edu. I will be checking my emails frequently during the day and will respond to your email within a 24 hour period. Besides google classroom each child has their log in for the following resources: Learning Odyssey, Freckle, Khan Academy, and Scholastic News. There are more sites and resources which will be added actively under the 'resources/websites' tab.

I hope you and your families are staying safe during this hard time, but also are getting a chance to spend some quality time together. Remember to stay positive and keep your child engaged in reading as much as possible (any book of their choice)! I can not wait to be back in the classroom to see all their smiling faces, and be able to teach them as a group! I miss them all so much!!
